As the last pub remaining in Yapton, this small flint-built free house of character is hidden away from the village centre down a narrow lane ending in a pedestrian crossing over the railway, 1.2 miles east of Barnham station and 2 miles from Ford station.
The cosy lounge is often lively, having two open fires, including a large inglenook, and a row of 8 hand pumps dispensing up to 5 beers of which 3 are rotating and usually from small breweries. There is a traditional public bar with pool and darts plus a skittle alley/function room.
We have two separate bars, one serves Listers and Phoenix and a variety of changing beers. The other serves Real Ale, Real Cider, and Special Brew Lager
